New York Historical Society:
Slavery in New York
An interactive exhibit on the history of slavery in New York City - on display in New York through March of 2006. I designed and built a Flash based interactive game, Flash based interactive tools for investigating historical documents, as well as videos for some of the displays. To the right are some of the pieces I worked on - part of the flash based Manumission interactive game (6megs), the flash based Kieft document investigation tool (1.7megs), and a grab from the video timeline presenting the history of slavery in New York juxtaposed against the histy of the American Revolution. The first two flash pieces are displayed on kiosks, and the timeline is projected onto a wall and is about 7 feet tall and 15 feet wide. Sacha Moo also worked on the Kieft document piece.
