Joe and Anne, a couple in their late 30’s with two children, have been married for 10 years. Joe’s neurologist has suggested a change in his DMT because of recent disease activity and increasing symptoms. Problems with fatigue, balance, and mobility are impacting Joe’s work as a project manager for a construction firm and his ability to coach his kids’ sports teams. His physical therapist has begun talking to Joe about using mobility aids. Anne has concerns about Joe’s recent weight gain and high cholesterol, as well as his ability to keep working.  She also worries about the impact of all these changes on their relationship and on the kids. Anne has taken on more responsibilities at home and at work and is feeling overwhelmed.
